The Orihuela Costa Town hall appears to be opening the purse strings around the La Zenia area and the road from La Zenia roundabout towards Villamartin is going to look great when this latest phase of work is completed. The road runs past Consum supermarket, past Zenia Golf I and all the way to the roundabout at the Zenia Boulevard, next to the Comaskey properties Malaquita office.
The town hall is planting palm trees in the middle of the road to create a “florida style” boulevard on the busy Avenida Villamartin. It’s going to take a while, the fastest growing palm trees when properly maintained grow at a rate just less than 1 meter per year and they grow to 10 meters, so by my maths that’s going to take, ages! It will look good when finished and even while growing and as we are often critical of the Orihuela Costa Town hall it’s great to see them doing something positive for the La Zenia area.
