About Ian Comaskey
Independent Advisory Built on 25 Years of Real Experience
I began working in Spanish property in 2001, during a period of rapid growth and change in the market. Over time, my work expanded beyond simple transactions into legal, tax, and financial advisory. These were, and still are, areas where clients often needed clearer guidance and longer-term perspective.
In 2001, I founded Comaskey Properties, which I later sold in 2018.
I established Spanish Solutions in 2005, Equity Release Spain in 2018 and many other divisions alongside all of this. Today, I work and advise independently while remaining actively involved as a director across several specialist businesses.
My clients are supported day-to-day by experienced senior teams within the relevant specialist firm. This helps by ensuring consistency, depth of expertise, and continuity.

Our deals are built on tangible property assets, including property flips, wholesaling, SOCIMIs through our partners, and specialized joint ventures—such as financing for squatter evictions, probate settlements, and divorce agreements. Every investment is fully guaranteed and asset-backed, with all contracts formally registered through a Spanish Public Notary to ensure they are legal, secure, and above board.
