Still loving the new La Zenia Boulevard Mall! – Comaskey Properties

None of us now are at a loss to do for weekends with the LA Zenia Boulevard shopping mall so close (not that we ever were!). It is so large that you can´t possibly do it all in one day; it is the biggest in the Valencian Community.

Having now spent a few happy hours wandering there, we can tell you that there are over 150 shop units and almost all of them are open. There are many varieties of women´s and men´s clothing shops including the usual favourites H & M, Zara, C & A, Punt Roma, Pull and Bear, children´s shops including a toy store, shops for accessories and specialized sports shops. The larger shops are of course Primark, Leroy Merlin (a mecca for the DIY enthusiast), Conforama (which is a bit like a smaller IKEA with some great stuff at terrific prices), Decathlon, Media Markt (electronics etc) and a huge Al Campo Hypermarket which will take some exploring (more than 9,000 square metres).  It´s the perfect place for some Christmas shopping.

Above the centre, which is divided into different areas with small shopping streets, and themed (for example theLondon Squarehas red telephone boxes and an Underground sign), there is a lively Food Court.

This has a good Italian pizza, pasta and salad restaurant with all you can eat buffet style, including alcohol in the price (Muerde la Pasta), a Burger King, a Chinese, an American Hollywood, Spanish tapas bars such as a nice one to try, “100 Montaditos” (little tapas, for example 2 pints of beer and 6 tapas for 5€) and  “Cervecerias” so the man in your life can relax with a beer and view an absolutely massive screen with football, motor racing etc while you head for the shops below. The Casino and Ten Pin Bowling will be opening soon. There is really something for everyone and we are so close you can pop in and say hello to us too!
