Here are some photos of yesterdays procession of Moors and Christians fiesta which re-enacts the re-conquest of Orihuela.The fiesta will continue in Orihuela until the 23/07/12.
This fiesta is called ‘Dia del Pajaro’ which literally translated means day of the bird.
The streets were packed and the atmosphere was fantastic. What a great day, we would recommend it to anyone!
